Arne Hoel is a photographer based in Washington, DC. He specializes in using documentary photography and multimedia to help corporations, international organizations, aid agencies, NGOs and foundations tell their unique stories.

As a consultant to the World Bank and principal documentary photographer for Africa since 2004, he has covered a wide range of economic and social issues on the African continent, as well as in other regions including the Middle East, South Asia, Central America and the Caribbean.
